Mexi-burgers

March 27, 2007 by angelaskitchen 5 Comments

Sometimes you just want to hang out and not cook supper.  I like to keep these in the freezer for an easy, pop-on-the-grill meal.  Serve with gluten free buns, guacamole, and salsa.

Printer friendly recipe card for multiple batches for Mexi-Burgers for the freezer.

Mexi-burgers

2 pounds ground beef

2/3 cup finely minced onion

¼ cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped

1 4 oz. can mild green chilies, drained and diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon ground pepper

½ teaspoon salt

Mix the ingredients together.  Shape into 8 to 10 hamburger patties.  Cook in a hot skillet until done.

I am so happy when someone tries one of my recipes. I do ask, though, that you link back to the recipe instead of posting it on your site unless you have made major changes.
