“Snowmen House of Horror”
I was in such a rush to get ready to leave for the Brownie Winter Get Away that I didn’t post for Slow Cooker Thursday or even let my lovely Bible study group know that I was going to maybe miss this week’s session. I was hoping to get there for a while before my daughter and I had to leave, but it was not to be. This week’s lesson was really something I wanted to go over with them. I am sorry for not giving you all the “heads up,” but we are all alive and well. I got to go teach 20 third graders how to cross-country ski and hang out with them. It was a blast! (I did take a nap when I got home. ;o)
After my nap, the snow was great packing, so we went outside and made snowmen. Even grandma got into the action. Later, when I made buns for super I thought I would make Noah’s Rolls into snowmen using my three different sized scoops. I thought it would be so cute and fun, not remembering that Noah’s rolls can spilt and expand into amazing shapes. Also, decorating the faces before I baked them was a BAD idea, as they became very deformed, eyes and noses splitting off into other directions. My kids thought it was just too funny! After we added the meatballs and sauce – well, I will spare you, but it was quite morbid.
This blog entry is for my friends who think I can cook anything at the drop of a hat. Ha! Not all ideas turn out so well, but they are usually pretty funny!
It would totally be something that Griffin would do too.
Have an outline to turn in yet????
