It’s the last week of summer vacation for our family, so we’ll be heading to the state fair, doing some canning and meeting teachers this week.  Blah- I’m so bummed summer is done.  I love having the kiddos at home!  I’m going to miss my buddies during the day…

Cheryl of Gluten Free Goodness is our host for the Gluten Free Menu Swap this week.  She has picked tomatoes for the theme this week.  Ya-hoo!  Tomatoes are going crazy in my garden right now, so she is just in time.  On Saturday I’ll be posting a recipe for tomato jam (Yum!) with canning labels to print off, so come back for those.  Some of my favorite tomato recipes are BLT’s with avocado, home canned tomato sauce (especially with roasted garlic), and Slow Roasted Caramelized Tomatoes.  What do you like to do with your tomatoes?

If you would like to host the Gluten Free Menu Swap, drop Cheryl a line at Gluten Free Goodness.  She would love to hear from you!
