Italian seasoning is one of those things that show up in so many recipes.  Yeah, you can buy it premixed, however, I find I get a much better flavor profile by mixing my own.  You can use it to quickly season pasta sauce, sprinkle on grilled eggplant or sliced tomatoes, blend into your GF bread crumbs, whisk into a vinaigrette or scrambled eggs, and sprinkle on your pizza.  The possibilities are endless!

Italian Seasoning

3 Tablespoons dried basil

3 Tablespoons dried oregano

2 Tablespoons dried marjoram

1 Tablespoon dried parsley

2 teaspoon dried thyme

2 teaspoons dried minced onion

1 teaspoon dried garlic granules

1 teaspoon dried ground rosemary (I know, it’s whole in the pic.  Pulse in a grinder before mixing in)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/4 teaspoon dried ground fennel

Mix all ingredients together and store in an air tight container.  I like to store mine in a small canning jar.
