We have been working on the theater badge for Girl Scouts and a couple dads helped out.  The girls got them all decorated up, too!  Thanks for being such good sports, guys!

Hope you all are warmer than we have been here.  Usually, I have peas  and all my salad greens in the ground by now.  They like the cool weather and I always push ahead and plant them because I can’t wait to get my hands into the dirt.  But THIS year, well, it’s been COLD!  And there were SNOWFLAKES falling from the sky.  Just a few, but, well, still…  (sigh)  Baseball practice was cancelled for tonight because 30 degrees is a bit too chilly for baseball.  Ya think?  I am hoping this means winter will be later in coming.  A girl can dream, right?

This week is another busy week around here.  It will be nice when the activity overlap is over.  Soon.  Very, very soon.  We had piano festival this weekend (my kids were great!) which was fun to see.  Now if it would only warm up.  It’s hard to go to soccer practice in the cold…  Ugh!  Thursday I get to go with the preschool class to the zoo, which is always fun.  My daughter is really excited about the bus ride!

Head over to Menu Plan Monday for an amazing amount of menu plans.  If you want all gluten free menus, head over to theGluten Free Menu Swap hosted this week by Asparagus Thin.   This week’s theme ingredient is peas.   I like peas, especially the sugar peas, and I have great memories of all my kids planting them every spring.  My son had to check on them every day, several times a day when he was little, just in case they grew when he wasn’t looking.  We have to plant a lot as the kiddos snack right off the vine every time they play outside or I wouldn’t have enough for dinner.  Not such a bad snack…

Lol…looks like those girls had a good time “Decorating” their faces!

It’s been too cool where I am, too for anything from a garden.  Here’s to warmer weather soon! ; )
