Ingredients
Ingredients for Dry Mix:
3/4cupplus 2 tablespoons sugar
1/2cupunsweetened sifted cocoa powder
1/4cupfinely ground rice flour
1/4teaspoongluten free baking powder
1/4teaspoonsalt
2tablespoonpotato starch
2tablespoontapioca starch
Add to dry mix:
6tablespoonsoil
2large eggs or egg substitute
1teaspoongluten free vanilla extract
1cupcoarsely chopped walnuts or gluten & dairy free chocolate chips
Instructions
To make mix: Layer ingredients into a pint sized jar in the order given. Put on the cap and decorate, if you choose. Add label with instructions.
To make brownies: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Oil an 8″ x 8″ baking pan. Set aside.
In a bowl mix together oil, eggs and vanilla. Add the entire jar of brownie mix and stir until completely combined. Batter will be thick. Mix in nuts or chocolate chips. Spread in prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a cooling rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
