Are you a bit behind on getting ready for Thanksgiving?  I have some resources to help you get a gluten and dairy free dinner on the table.

First, is my packet from the 2008 Thanksgiving dinner class I taught.  It includes a grocery list, make ahead instructions and a time line for making your dinner.  All recipes are gluten and dairy free, with egg and corn free alternatives for each recipe.

The post of my November 2005 class are all recipes that can be used for Thanksgiving.

And for those of you who just gotta have it, here is Green Bean Casserole with Crispy Onions/Faux French’s.  Woo-hoo!

What are we having this year for Thanksgiving?  Roast Maple Turkey, Gravy, Roasted Garlic-Sage and Sausage Stuffing, Orange Cranberry Sauce, Impossible Pumpkin Pie (made by my oldest daughter) with Whipped Coconut Cream – all from the Thanksgiving 2008 packet.  I am also making a big mixed greens and spinach salad with poppy seed dressing and I am thinking about the tasty looking Brussels Sprouts Salad with Warm Bacon Vinaigrette that was on last week’s Secret Recipe Club reveal.  My son always makes pecan tassies and my little girl will be making brownie bites (she is a bit of a gluten free brownie monster!)  And, also I have got to make Adeenas Gluten Free Rosemary Teff Dinner Rolls.  They are delicious!  It might sound like a lot, BUT I break my preparation down over a few days, so none of it is overwhelming and so that I am not exhausted on Thanksgiving day.  I want to enjoy my family, not be trapped in the kitchen.  🙂
