The Recipe: Herbed Slow Cooker Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 6 bone-in chicken breast halves, 6 ounces each or cut up whole chicken
  • 1/2 cup gluten free chicken broth

Instructions 

  • Remove skin from chicken. In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; rub over chicken. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker; add broth. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until a meat is cooked through.
