St. John’s listserv:  This is another great site for recipes, information on celiac, etc.  The archives are full interesting information.  Check out the recipe section for specific taste treats you might be looking for.

Above is my youngest cutie-pie.  She has definitely challenged me in the cooking area.  I had felt so very superior that my kids were willing to try any food.  Then she came along and turned out to be the picky girl of the planet.  She will eat veggies only if they are baked into something and she is tricked into it.  Someday when she can read she will find out all the ways I have hidden spinach and squash in her favorite items.  Ah, the joys of parenthood.  She is, however, my most enthusiastic gardening and baking partner.  I can not go out to the garden or turn on the mixer without her insisting on helping.  And she loves to cook for her friends and share her creations with others.  I can only hope that passion for gardening and cooking will turn into a love of salad in the future!

Ha! I hear ya on the picky eater thing. My kids can be (AT TIMES!) ever so adventurous when it comes to eating…for instance, eating baby squid at a chinese restaurant. But put those very common foods in front of them, say…oh, meatloaf or lima beans, and instantly two tongues are sticking out.  *lol*  What can you do?? 🙂
